The ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run 10K will use an electronic timing system that records race time and place via a transponder tag attached to a runner’s race number bib. Times will not be recorded without a tag.
The disposable timing tag will be provided to 10K participants only as an attachment to their race number. Participants in the 10K will need to remove the tag from their race number and attach it to their running shoe. Instructions are provided as an attachment to each individual's tag.
The non-competitive 5K race will not utilize tag timing and individual times will not be recorded. Walkers must finish the course by 11:30 a.m. Individual timing and race results will be provided via e-mail to all 10K finishers.
The timing tag net time will be used to score all 10K participants except the overall first-place male and female winners and the first-place male and female wheelchair winners.
