• Most Spirited: Enthusiasm is a must for this competition, and the winner's attitude should be as predominant as his or her rodeo duds.
  

Under 18 -- Junior Cowpoke

The best dressed contestant under 18 years of age will win Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo carnival ride coupons.

To be eligible to participate, all contestants must arrive on the steps of the Alley Theatre at 8:55 a.m. on the day of the race for preliminary judging and promotional photos. Winners will be announced immediately following Costume Contest judging.

Rules:

• Contestants must be registered in the race.
• Contestants must meet the age requirement for the respective contest.
• Adult contestants must choose one category, either Best Dressed or Most Spirited.
• Contestants must be present for pre-race judging and the post-race party.
